Someone across the way is having a house / garden party. Looks nice with outdoor lights and sort of gazebo type thing. Makes me sad at how dull, empty and devoid my life is.

I know it's a trivial thing really, but it's a little thing that makes me feel somehow weak or faulty. Everyone else can tolerate the irritation or feel completely at ease with wearing glasses, but for some reason I'm just incapable of it. It's one of many things that makes me feel... I don't know, alien? Like not a real person.

Thinking of giving contact lenses a try, but I'll have to go back for another eye test, bleugh. Probably won't be able to stand wearing those either.
The people you see wearing glasses are the ones who are comfortable in them - a lot of people don't like them so wear contacts. Means that it may seem everyone is happy with glasses, but you're only seeing the people who are. So basically you're not a freak for not liking glasses, lots of other people do as well so don't wear them either.

I feel comfortable wearing glasses, but that's a lot to do with wearing them constantly for as long as I can remember so it feels normal. Contact lenses is what freaks me out! Feel like everyone can suddenly see me more because I can't hide behind my glasses. Which is ridiculous really!

Did I say it made me sad. I take it back. The music blaring through the open windows is bloody annoying.

What sort of things do couples do together? And talk about?

Been away most of the summer so haven't seen R much and it feels a bit like the relationship has kind of fizzled away a bit.

Posting on SAUK about relationship stuff again. Sorry everyone

I think it depends on whether you've seen the theatre production. I think I would have enjoyed it more without that comparison constantly in my head.

The play's fantastic, the film felt a bit Hollywood-ised.

Was reading an article about the safest places to live in England and Wales. It says "The safest place in England and Wales was the Dyfed-Powys area in mid-Wales, where around only three people in every hundred was a victim of crime last year."

ONLY!! three in one hundred, what kind of crack are these people smoking!! That's 1 in 33, that is absolutely appalling and shows what an utter failure the human race is and just how ridiculous the limp liberals are with all their rehabilitation nonsense.

Littering lol. No I don't know, but considering how much crime goes unreported, or has no conviction...I'm not sure if it's based on convictions or reports actually, but no matter what way you look at it, it's super high. I would expect rates to be nearer 1 in 50k before I would consider it somewhat under control. What are the powers that be thinking.

Does that mean there were 2.1 million crimes last year? :/

^^This place is gonna be so quiet without you

Being the selfish turd that I am, I'm not looking forward to your departure.

Still if it means you can find some happiness then it can only be a good thing

That sounds good being able to go out shopping at the weekend and to the gym !!

Most teeth whitening products contain hydrogen peroxide as the active ingredient,
so does Cillit Bang, could I not just use that? It's far cheaper!
