Horror film gene that makes some scream while others laugh

Thought this might make for an interesting discussion. I'll admit i can get jumpy during movies (as Miss Fit will testify when we both saw "I Am Legend"  ) although i've never been put off watching a horror. I'm not sure i'm convinced by this genes argument though. |

they make me laugh me wotsits off, I love 'em
Perhaps I do the job I do because I do not mind gore. But other things make me anxious which should not be scary! |

moose I've seen sticky Vicky when I went to Benidorm this year, nothing will beat that! And pleae could you re-phrase your post - I don't like the word twat!!

My friend loves horrors but hates alien films and Dr.Who she finds them really scary. I'm not keen on gore for the sake of gore etc I like a good thriller though. Things can play on my mind, so its not good for me to watch too much nasty stuff.
