Chatting to someone on Amazon. When I had covid I had a test from boots and bought some lateral flow tests on Amazon and saw they had date stickers on the boxes. I peeled them off and they covered up the actual dates on the box and they'd all expired! I looked at the recent reviews and it has happened to a few people (those reviews weren't there when I placed the order).

I almost just bought an oscilloscope on eBay because it looks cool.
I have no particular need for an oscilloscope. I'd probably just get it displaying the time or something, as a nerdy clock.

Amazon is terrible now.
I use it as little as possible.
I should really stop using eBay too when I remember they did this !

That is shocking, Biscuit! I'm glad you spotted it. Hopefully Amazon will sort it out.

Typing the word oscilloscope into google

And also having a little cry. I'm missing my furbaby

@ Biscuits - That's awful! You wonder how they thought they'd get away with this as someone was bound to peel off the sticker.

The person (robot?) on the chat was pretty good and sorted a refund. I mentioned that others have posted photo and video reviews showing the stickers.

Oh my gosh, I remember hearing about the eBay thing, al!

I insulted someone on a chat the other day by saying, please, I need to speak to a real person, and it came back, I am a real person. Oops. Sadly the problem is unresolved.

^ hahaha that's hilarious.

Although not hilarious that it's unresolved.

We need to have a captcha to give to them so they can prove they're not a robot.

One day Biscuits, one day, this will be what it is like. Everything will be done via phone, and when you have a problem, how do you find the human who can sort it?

I can imagine the magazine cover stories in the doctors and dentist:

My robot boyfriend cheated on me with the toaster.

I'm in bed with a strawberry chupa-chups lolly.

Did you know that the chupa-chups logo was designed by the artist Salvador Dali?

I'm booking with an estate agent to have my house valued. I've been wanting to move for quite some time... it's finally happening! This is a good thing. Daunting, though. And I have tons to do (yet here I am still sitting on my hiney on SAUK!).

In addition, I've just had my rheumatology appointment come through after a year of waiting. So I've a lot on my mind right now. That said, I reckon this appointment might also be a ...good thing?

Change is scary!

As are warner goodman London road for conveyancing.

Charters on the avenue are slime.

Enfields have a fairly accurate free valuation tool on their website.

^ it's a nightmare dealing with estate agents it takes going through the whole process before you start to learn their tricks.

Things we learnt were....when viewing a property show zero emotion even to the point of criticising the property. Never show you're keen. It'll cost you in the future as they'll know you really want the property

Offer at least 10% less than what you're actually willing to pay then gradually work up to what you think it's worth.

Stand your ground with buyers of your place when they start trying to get you to drop price or do things like service boiler.

Get a survey!

Good luck with it all.

Eating a cake.

Is a man in his 30's eating a cake on his own after midnight sad?

No, no it isn't.
