It'll be next Christmas's Toblerone, if the boffins at the chocolate factory don't keep up with my dreams.

Re: what food do you add lemon to?
I like having it in salad,
Cut all your veggies etc into a bowl Then mix lemon juice, honey and olive oil Then stir it into your salad, It really brings it to life. Lemons are also good in a cold water bottle to give the water some flavour |

Pancakes!
Ginger, honey and lemon and boiling water. I think lime works better in cooking. |

Re: what food do you add lemon to?
Not technically food but I once drank the juice of 20 lemons to get rid of a kidney stone.

^yes kidney stone passed few hours after drinking the lemons. I'll never know for certain but by then I was desperate enough to try it. Two trips to A&E and I'd had enough.

Re: what food do you add lemon to?
I wouldn't mind having a gander myself, BFG! Although not in the sense of you pitching a tent and charging admission. But more in the sense of you pitching a tent and charging no admission. After all, it might help to increase the membership numbers. I'm also glad to hear that you managed to pass it through your system.
Anyway I sometimes have some lemon juice with my twice baked potato. For that zesty taste! Although I've been trying to limit any additional ingredients in my diet recently. Of course it's beneficial to have lemon in my diet, but I just think it can be a slippery slope when it comes to flavours and condiments. One day it's lemon juice and the next it's lemon sherbet! Which is why it's important to nip these lemony temptations in the bud. Otherwise it can lead to total anarchy! Or another way of putting it, I'm starting to miss sugar! |

Re: what food do you add lemon to?
I generally always have a bottle in the fridge and often add dashes of it to things like paella and Thai and Indian curries.
It's also nice with black pepper and garlic as a marinade for turkey/chicken, with mustard and crème fraiche for a richer sauce, or with soy sauce and honey for a stir fry. I've also made this a few times, which is pretty heavy on the lemon: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/...th-pomegranate Might make one of the above tomorrow actually... |

Awkwardly glance at me, while praising the food, and averting ones eyes from those who followed the dress code? We'd need Chess to lighten things up!

Re: what food do you add lemon to?
I would do that for you, Choirgirl, but Appear will have it all in hand. You could even say that he's the whole package! I just wish I could put a rosette on him!
Which reminds me: It might seem a bit too much, but he's become insatiable lately! Anyway, it was very nice chatting with you, Choirgirl. |
