Yesterday I finished a 6 month therapy group, and I don't think I missed any sessions that whole time. There's a half hour coffee break and an hour's arts & craftsy part of it too, which is more socialising than I've done in years. It's weird to think I'll actually miss it.

Thank you, chum That sort of thing becomes easier once you've been a few times, the first couple of sessions are pretty make or break. I probably only stuck with this one because I'd been waiting a year and a half for it.

I created my first blog, it isn't very interesting but I thought it might help to write things down.

I picked up my new car. I love it. Passed my test last week after putting off learning to drive for 10 years, and it's so exciting getting to drive around now!

I'm proud of my little self. Today I got through a busy managers meeting with about 25 complete strangers. I gave everyone a cheeky smile and wave when I was introduced and had a few polite chit-chatty conversations with various people, even made some little jokes with them.
What I'm mainly proud of though is for not freaking out about it the night before and worrying myself sick, because there was no need to (not that there ever is a need to, I usually just do it anyway). Also for not freaking out in there when I didn't know where I was going or who anyone was, and just rolling with it. I was able to pay attention and take notes and not get caught up in my own inner self deprecating dialogue.

I steam-cleaned the back room windows and they're looking a damn sight better than their previous state. They're knackered though, the seals are broken on most, so getting them properly clean is impossible. Still, they ain't dirty on the outside no more!

^^ Well done on going. Was the class good?

I got some things done that I've been procrastinating about. Submitted a passport renewal since mine expired last month and I want to go on holiday in September (had to take photos of myself for it ), filled in my form to register with a new doctor which I should have done months ago, I also filled in the paperwork to change my address with the bank. All to do now is pop them in the post.

Edit: Can also add sending off evidence to join the electorial register. So much red tape bullshit all day.
