What to do with mate this Saturday?

One of the guys i work with IM'd me this week to say he would be in town this weekend and suggested going out Saturday night.

I'm not drinking in January as a resolution thing so wondered what we could do.

Maybe go for a meal then there is a nice, cool local pub with some good games - pool, darts and skittles.

It's going to be a bit weird being out as I won't be drinking.... my only thought is the pub. Ha ha.

Any other good ideas on non-alcoholic things to do on a Saturday night with someone you don't know too well.

Why don't you go and watch a film, you don't have to talk much and when it's over you can talk about the film.

Yeah maybe swap the pub for the cinema so go to the cinema first and then go for a meal somewhere.

If you have a local bowling centre near you then why not try that? I think a meal would be a good idea!!!!!
