I'm so disconnected from the world that even if I had the opportunity tongo out and socialise with people it wouldn't work out. I can't hold a conversation with another person, I'd run out of things to talk about and spend way too long sitting in awkward silence, dating is out if the question for that exact reason. I've found one person in my entire life who I could happily and comfortably lose hours with abd everyone knows how that ended, and that was years ago back when I still had stuff going on in my life. I'm just a loser, there's nothing about me that I can use to turn things around.

Think it might finish him off discovering me. :tongue1:

And here it is, The Great Cairn. Arguably the most disgusting, annoying, sloth like creature, life on planet earth, has ever produced.

And here it is, arguably the most beautiful bird that's ever lived, the Hello Sunshine Ravencock.

Close to extinction, like the great dodo, thanks to it's main predator, The Great Cairn, finding it very appetizing.

^In his defence he's not Ben Kingsley, who was Ghandi and the villain in Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne. I think a lot if these actors overestimate their own success and bank balance, get into a load of debt and have to find a way to cash in. Nicholas Cage won an oscar but his reputation is trash because he got carried away buying dinosaur bones and vintage comic books and now he has to star in weird Jehovas Witness propaganda films because they pay him to do it.

There's something about an actor's 'legacy' that I find a bit too precious. It's a shame that De Niro's chosen the roles he has for the last 15-20 years, as he's obviously capable of making a much greater impact, but does it really tarnish the work he's best known for? Taxi Driver's still Taxi Driver, even if he does star in Cacky Septuagenarian or whatever that was.

Saying that, if Daniel Day-Lewis returned to the screens to star in Sex and the City 3, or co-star with Seth Rogen in gross-out comedy Look at Me, I'm an Asshole, I'd soon change my tune.

^ I feel that way everyday - not nice

I've spied that i have a parcel for someone whom i went to school with (yay!). Fortunately, because she orders very rarely and because each time i've been she's been elsewhere, we are yet to reunite - let's hope it stays this way!

Her garden decking may kill me one day though :/

Wishing that I was brave, I should just get in my car and have a road trip. Book a nice hotel and have a couple of days away. Instead I'm thinking driving there, checking in, where would I go etc

Which i did, kinda. I noticed there was no car, nor sign of life, so i knocked just once and then immediately started writing out a note to say that i've left it behind the bin!

I deliver to someone else i went to school with whom hasn't yet openly acknowledged that 'we know each other', so that's another ticking timebomb. I'm absolutely certain that she does know it's me too.... it's quite worrying.

I never acknowledge people I recognise. There's a girl who was in my class at school & who I was quite friendly with, she's on my facebook & sometimes we 'like' each other's stuff (big effort of friendship there!) a few weeks ago I saw her in my local park, even though she doesn't live near here, I looked straight at her, saw her recognise me, then I quickly went in the opposite direction.
There's another woman who I was friends with when my children were little, she even came to their birthday parties. I hadn't seen her for a few years & then she happened to be swimming right next to me one day at my local pool, I managed to show no recognition at all & so she didn't say 'hi'. Now I see her quite often swimming & still manage not to acknowledge I ever spoke to her.

Then I come on here and moan I've got no friends

It's a technique I can see myself rolling out to everyone I know in the future, so I'll only ever have to speak to my family or my dog.
Yeah, it is diffficult, you're running the gauntlet every time you step out in public, there's always the chance of bumping into a difficult situation/person. I've blanked a number of people i semi know, or done the minimal: smile and 'hiya' (then walk on).

I live in an area where single young people move away from: once they've buggered off to uni coming back here is the last thing they want to do. It's mainly an area of young families setting up and older people retiring. All the friends i've had have scattered about the place, so the chances of me having an awkward encounter are slim... thank god

I can't help but think those pictures have been pulled straight from a dating profile. Not sure why it matters what she looks like.
