I have lost track over the years
of the places and people I not known because of my fear.
So many places i wanted to see and
so many people who have not known me.
People say do it anyway
just face your fear is what people say.
Feel your fear these people tell me
they do not know my fear and so
how is they pretend to know?
How is that they dare actually to say
face up to your fear and it will go away?
How I wish it were possible for these people to be
for twenty four hours the person that is me
I wish they could get inside my head
I wish they could feel this sickening dread
that is always with me here.
I wonder if they could face this fear?
I wonder how they would feel
if some well meaning person then said
face your fear its all in your head?

Thats really good, sad but well expressed.
Poetry is apparently very therapeutic.

I liked this poem. It does help if you write down feelings by letting it all out. You can also see how your emotions change over time. I could only write poems for a board like this as I couldn't allow personal thoughts out anywhere else.
