Sprinkller dance - what the hell is that all about?

What is this sprinkler dance all about?
It was being talked about on the news. Why has this "craze" started? What is its origin. Or is it just a bunch of tossers?

EDIT : What I'm trying to get at is, Paul Gascoigne's celebration of a goal against Scotland had its origins when the England team were photographed on a drunken night out and he was re-creating that scenario. Is there any origin to the sprinkler dance or are as I ask above are the England cricket team just a bunch of tossers.

It's been around for years but the current fad about it now is down to the Cricket. Basically the English cricket team have started doing the dance as a way to bond/pass time and its now become something of a craze for all the cricket fans and I guess its spread out from there.

I'd say tossers
