^ ... Anyone dislike Jimmy Carr? Wanna see him die a little in front of an American crowd? He's on one of the specials - enjoy!
I've never been that fussed on him tbh. |

Re: TV programs you're watching?
I started a Japanese show (on Amazon Prime) last night called Documental. The premise is 10 comedians are locked in a room together for six hours and people are eliminated as soon as they laugh, with the last one left at the end getting the prize money. It's great so far, apparently each season gets better and better.

I got to that episode last night Oh God. The fast pull down with one hand and spread with the other was incredible. And the tissue Something flew out of one guy and they never even mentioned it!

Re: TV programs you're watching?
I've pretty much given up with TV these days, but I'm greatly enjoying watching some YouTube videos by Martijn Doolard - a Dutch man who is renovating and living in a remote stone cabin in the Italian Alps. I think it might appeal to a lot of SA sufferers for obvious reasons.

Re: TV programs you're watching?
The latest BCS was excellent. What do you think the funny scene with Gus at the wine bar is about? The sort of classy evening that Gus, in another life, would have enjoyed?
Resident Evil - I couldn't finish one episode of this. Just awful. |

Re: TV programs you're watching?
^ yes, I loved the final episodes of BCS, but I really think having that break killed the suspense a bit. They should have ran it weekly.

^^^ The long break with Battle Cars Galactica was annoying, I guess Netflix have to try and stop the membership haemorrhaging somehow!

Re: TV programs you're watching?
I’ve been watching Minder.
A late 70s/80s show. I’m mostly enjoying seeing the London street scenes, which is fairly rare to see. Most shows from that era seemed to use studio sets. So, fascinating to see London un-gentrified with no traffic, and I love seeing the old cars, trucks and buses. It’s a bit politically incorrect, but not as bad as I’d expect it to be. It does show a multi-cultural London which is good to see (although I notice some episodes are not shown, so maybe they’re a bit too inappropriate for today!). I don’t agree with some of the political incorrectness shown, but it’s important to see what things were like then as a historical document I guess. There are comparisons made with this to Only Fools & Horses, but I think this is better. It’s more of a drama, and there’s more realism. Only Fools mostly used sets and was more of a sitcom. The storylines are easy watching not difficult to follow, so suitable for me!. The fight scenes are rather funny… |

Re: TV programs you're watching?
Seeing 'old' London in stuff like Minder is fascinating. Loads of street scenes pre all the development. Plus, George Cole was an insanely good actor.
The Professionals is also good for seeing old London. There's websites that have categorised the street scenes with the modern day pictures. |

(Sorry, the Dad jokes are gettting relentless on here). I'm watching The Haunting of Hill House. I didn't watch it on release because of the hype explosion, but it is indeed great. |
