Watching the rain (and thunder) which has suddenly come on again. I woke up the s'morn at 7.30 ish to heavy rain which disappeared and the sun came out, now it's black out there.

It's the animal sanctuary's yearly festival tomorrow, all the tents and awnings went up yesterday (with a struggle) as the wind had taken some of them down the day before. They are going to be a total mess after with this weather

Haha, we didn't have hail but it were quite heavy for a bit. One big 'roll' of thunder, that set the dog off :/

It seems to be stopping. I don't know, I doubt it as there's food and drink booked and prepared, music/band booked, but I'd imagine it's gonna be a scramble to get things fixed/right. :/

It's started up here again - the moment i posted last, i looked up and it was spittering. Quite heavy again.

No. I've got to start bowel prep stuff (laxatives) tomorrow so can't. I was working there last year but didn't go cause of sa and made an excuse instead.

Lovely.... Yeah, it would be hard to judge how that sort of thing may turn out, i don't blame ya for bailing. Would be quite cool though, i quite like those sort of events, local communities coming together, etc.

I have no idea! I'm rather dumb when it comes to weather science.

Yeah I quite like that sort of thing. They get the animals involved to. Have a Shetland pony race (lead rein not being ridden) and that sort of thing.

One of the other volunteers was telling me that last year the donkeys didn't like the music/band so started braying loudly non stop to the tunes (theres 6 of them) . Between that and a tent taking off and landing in with them it was exciting times in the donkey donk world.

It's a shame we miss out on these things, mostly out of caution than any real possibility of something going wrong (for me anyway).

Got a nice cuppa tea afterwards but a rather meh egg sandwich from the nurse :/.

Went ok though, couldn't have sedation as I had no one to pick me up, just a bit of gas and air, surprisingly not to bad. Had 8 v. small polyps removed (my colon seems to be a polyp making machine ) that will be checked by pathology but that aside all is well.

Bought myself some caramel and chocolate cheesecake from Waitrose on the way home

Also caught up with my ex support worker who has informed me that my referral has been bounced back to the GP with a message that I should be sent to Time to Talk, that should be enough. Surprise Surprise. NHS - National not Here Service of mental health.
He's told me to talk to my GP and see what they say.

Spying. My loud neighbour buggered off on Friday and other to drop off and then pick up his car hasn't been back. His dad? has just come round in his van for all of 10/15 mins and did some drilling and left. I had a mad delirious moment where I was like OMG maybe he's moving out
