I rang up for JSA today and I didn't get a dick on the other end of the phone like the last time. Got my interview on Friday, hope it goes well. I'm proud of myself for doing this much at least.

I went for my JSA interview. I hated it, felt like I was gonna burst into tears at the desk and felt like getting up and walking out. I didn't though, I got through it, got it over with. Proud of myself for that.

yesterday I went to the gym and I finally worked up the courage to go in the room that the have a class but they didn't have a class at that time but I saw a girl working out in there and I asked if anybody can work out in here? she said yes and I grabbed on of the mats and started to do deep breathing and stretches. I didn't do it very long because of anxiety but Im glad I made that first effort to find a place at the gym to do my deep breathing.

I sang infront of my boyfriend today. It might not seem a big deal but I never sing infront of anybody, I love to sing but only comfortable when completely alone. I was only singing very quietly along to loud music but wahey. I'm glad he didn't point out that I was either. xD

Aww, I wanna hear ya sing now Porky! d'ya think you have talent?

I love singing along to tunes too, but I'm not one for public 'cos I'd be one of those acts that come back for a laugh in the X Factor final, in short, I ain't that great.

I'd like to join a choir or something, that'd be a good experience I think. have ya thought of doing that yerself?

Nawwww I don't think I'm good enough. xD I don't think I could ever sing in public... though I suppose it'd be easier in a crowd.

I went out without my glasses today, and I usually hide behind them every day.

Felt a bit naked and ugly, but I did it.
I dont even need to wear them, unless I'm driving or watching tv.

Let me be the judge of that Porky! I feel like Simon Cowell now.
You can probably gain more confidence through the group in a choir, that's why I thought it'd probably be easier with SA to join one.

I saw a vid of one of those 'flash mob' dances on youtube the other day as well, I had a strange urge to take part, looks a laugh and possible too.

I always think I look different and not as good without my glasses on, like I suit wearing them more, and that people will look at me and think I'm pretty weird looking when I don't have them on.
I'm blind as bat without them though anyway so I ain't got much choice.

It's great that you managed to go out without them though, congrats.

I went for a coffee earlier with my mum and as she hadn't had lunch she ordered a toasted sandwich but when it arrived it was very obviously burnt. Mum was umming and urring as to whether to mention it when I said I'd do it. I was rather apologetic to the man which maybe I shouldn't have been but I did say could you do another one, and as he was busy I didn't want to make him feel stressed by moaning. Anyway it worked. I did go rather red I think but I did it.

Well done Willow! I've found myself in that situation now and again myself, and its like a little tester. Most cafes worth their salt will be only too happy to make amends.

Thanks. Yeah it's a situation where you know you should say something as you (mum in this case) have paid for it and it really isn't good enough, a lot of people would just throw away a burnt thing they made at home, but it can feel like you are being a pain in the arse so it can be hard.

I posted this on the How I am feeling thread but this felt like an achievement too. YIPPEE...I managed to push myself to go outside with my friend to the library and walk her dog with her and I had a good time. I even asked her if she was busy tommorrow so I could volunteer at the library and she and me are going to the library tommorrow. I cant wait. I havent volunteered at the library in 5 months. Im so glad I got the courage to ask about volunteering tommorrow. This is the first big step in the right direction.

I was out and about today and freaked out by huge crowds in Camden holding cameras pointed at the road, as I walked towards the market to buy lunch. I was itching to ask someone what was going on but was shy. Eventually I plucked up the courage to ask an old man covered in piercings, and he said 'Malcolm McLaren's funeral procession is due to be passing by'.

I "Went Out" for the first time ever last night Not what I expected...no crazy drunk people (although I nearly saw a fight!) and I'm just glad I've got my first one out of the way

Also went wild and called Orange the other day to cancel my contract. Took a month to psyche myself up to do it, but it means I'm getting an iPhone next week

While having a private discussion about music, the topic of singing came up and I was asked what I sounded like. I was inspired by their own achievments and was having a fleeting moment of bravery, so I sent them a recording of me singing. I love music, but I can't bare people hearing me sing. I went and hid; cringing with my hands covering my face and cursing for 20 minutes or so!

I have already upload a public voice message to a thread before. I don't have a cam to make a vid, so wanted to challenge myself a little more.

I'm proud I managed it as it was a major achievment, and also that I did it without drinking first.

Now, I've just got to find the courage to make it into uni tomorrow to speak to my tutor.

I went to see my therapist yesterday to get a refill on Paxil and I went in and talked to her all by myself instead of my parents coming in and I was only a little bit nervous but mostly felt brave and excited to tell her how my progress is doing.

I went up to the bar in a club on Friday night and bought some drinks

Usually if its my turn to buy a round in a pub/bar I give someone else the money to go get them as i'm not keen on crowded places I offered my bf to go and buy the drinks with the money I had, but he encouraged me to go up and buy them (this was one of the things he used to avoid doing and could see straight through what I was trying to do ), I felt better for doing it myself
