I do struggle with guilt over the most ridiculous things, Rocket Spud. Like one of the neighbours knocked on the door yesterday with 3 bottles of milk and asked if I wanted them. Old me would have just said yes, but new me said no thanks because we have five pints in the fridge already. Then I felt guilty because she looked so disappointed, but what would I do with three large bottles of milk? I would have felt even more guilty for saying yes though because what would I do with them? Pour them down the sink? Then I felt bad because she might think I'm being snobby or ungrateful. I WAS THINKING ABOUT THIS FOR AGES

Imagine what I'm like with making decisions that actually matter.
Tut, what are you like! Don't sweat the small stuff! You told her you were already well stocked so i don't know why she was disappointed. You certainly didn't have anything to feel bad about.

Anyways, enjoy your roast

What does it mean when someone is described as 'unconventionally attractive'??? Would this be considered a compliment or an insult?

I have used to term myself. It's meant to be a compliment, it means you're attractive in a unique way. I can see why some would think it an insult though.

^ I'd say a better compliment than someone just say you are attractive. I think!

Great! My dog has sat in bloody gloss paint. I haven't anything to take it off with.

Hmm, I typed the word into google images and all these very weird unattractive looking people appeared. My husband described me as this today and I kind of wish he hadn't as it felt like a polite way of saying I'm ugly, lol

Oop's gloss paint is the worse to remove. Would your dog freak out if you tried to clip some of the fur off with some not too sharp scissors or clippers?

If it's any comfort I've never used it to describe someone I thought was "ugly".

^ Yes, Percy, but if Deers dog has sat in the gloss paint then I guess it's stuck to his bottom and so cutting off too much fur in that area may risk him looking like a baboon and he will be a laughing stock when he's taken out! Perhaps it's better to stick to Charlotte's suggestion!

On the other hand it might inspire a fashion trend among the local canine population. The dog equivalent of the undercut.

AYe, he has the pattern of the skirting board on his rear. And my skirting board had a clump of hair patched on to it!

When I noticed it, I nearly kicked my dog up the ass with my foot too!!!

Well, there's that, or I just leave the paint on and let the local dogs ,who are lucky enough to pass us, get high on a sniff and greet!

^I think the flame thrower would have been the fun option, but might be a bit costly in the old house insurance.

You've got to love mums sometimes haven't you. Where would we be without them?
