Steroids

I have been prescribed a course of steroids. Has anyone here had any experience of taking them?

I was given a kenalog steroid injection for hayfever years ago, sometime after the injection I chucked a 42" lcd TV through a patio door.

Kenalog injections have been banned since I think.
