^^ That would be great wouldn't it, but unfortunately a lot of people struggle with SA for a long time! So finding jobs that people are able to do seems like a good thing.

Craving the sedentary pace of working on a production line. I'm thinking of a place i used to work - they're probably not all the same, but it was so easy. Turn up, say hello and crack on. Most people on the same level, doing the same stuff, day after day. Management kept to themselves and the supervisors weren't too arsey. Also air conditioning.

My job is sa friendly I renovate social housing properties on my own. I don't have to talk to a single person. Radio on door locked no interruptions. People ask don't I get lonely? Don't I miss being around other people? Do I bollocks!

Also if I complete my jobs in less than the allocated time I spend the rest of the hours watching netflix/prime etc. Last property was 30 hours I completed it in 12.

If this job comes to an end I'm retiring as I don't think i could be bothered with a real job with interaction again.

sounds good BFG

I think if you are hands-on and having to think a lot about doing a skilled job then it will keep your mind occupied and you won't miss people as much.
I've done quite a bit of DIY over the years and it's always surprised me how much attention to detail and planning you have to put in,
I think some people imagine it's quite simple but there's a surprising amount of thought has to go into these things,..
I've been caught out a few times when I've overlooked just one small aspect of a job.

I'd love something like that full-time but my DIY skills seriously need a lot of honing.

I think there's quite a creative element to property maintenance, so I think it could also be quite fulfilling doing up houses, it would probably bring a bit of pride into what you do?

sometimes got to do a 'U-turn' of 'stopping the rot'

Job like this:
'Desired:
~ Stock control and stock room work. Goods in/out management
~ Fork Lift Experience
~ Picking and Packing
~ Computer Work
~ Shipping and postage

I reckon is good, but I'll apply and nothing because little warehouse experience.

Another one:
'Answering and directing incoming phone calls
Filing paperwork from deliveries
Inputting employees’ dates into the holiday calendar
Producing labels for packaging
Placing orders for items required within the company
Booking transport for items we are delivering to customers
Other administrative tasks on a day-to-day basis

Seems mostly doable but the phonecalls might be a struggle.

Pharmacy dispenser, I reckon is one. Just bags of attention to detail as make up loads of prescriptions.

Sainsburys do an online assistant sometimes 4-8am. Just going around with a trolley and picking items.

Trainee Telecoms Engineer:
We are looking for applicants with the following experience:
Customer Service Skills
Passion for hands on work/DIY -Nope
Self-Motivated
Comfortable working at Heights & Outdoors -Nope

kind of good one for SA, depending on how someone is with elderly people:

Good Life Sorted is an award-winning social enterprise company that connects older adults and their families with hand-picked, vetted individuals in their neighbourhood – Helpers - who provide a range of home help services for a fee.

The Helpers are self-employed, which means they can pick the hours they work and set their rates. There is no personal care involved with the role of a Helper and no experience is required.

To become a Helper, you must be:

- Over 18
- A holder of a UK full driving licence and have access to a car.
We are looking for amazing Helpers who enjoy interacting with older adults and are:

- Excellent communicators who enjoy meeting new people and can build rapport easily
- Trustworthy, reliable and punctual
- Confident in managing challenging situations
- Flexible and able to show initiative
- Good listeners
- Comfortable using technology
Services our Helpers typically offer:

Light cleaning and laundry. We define light cleaning as any of the following tasks –hoovering, dusting, tidying & putting things away, washing up, taking out rubbish & recyclingwiping over surfaces in kitchen & bathrooms, putting bleach down toilets, wiping out a fridge, mopping kitchen & bathroom floors.
Home help
Companionship
