Re: Words or sayings you hate!
People saying "anyways" instead of "anyway". Also people saying "me" when they mean "my" oh and people saying "haitch" for h instead of "aitch" as it ought to be. Oh oh oh, and people saying say-ez instead of sez (for says).

Re: Words or sayings you hate!
IT'S A MAN THING !
This I hate because it stereotypes people you know ? Most of us are a mixture of traits and it does not help by saying certain traits are masculine and certain other one's are feminine. Shyness for example being seen as a more feminine trait than a masculine one you know ? It's emasculating, do you agree ? |

Re: Words or sayings you hate!
My brother says 'Fiddy' instead of 'fifty' - it *really* grates on my nerves.
I also hate the word 'peng' (that's penging!/ it was peng!) I like anyways and anyhoo (i say them both) o.O; don't hate me. |

Like when people say you're not a man if you cry. It's bullcrap. Men have been brainwashed into believing that they must hide any sign of emotion otherwise they're weak. How come though, that it suddenly becomes acceptable, even encouraged, for men to cry when it involves their football team losing? They will stand there openly sobbing like babies in public, but that's OK because they're crying about something manly. There's a strange hypocrisy going on there. |

Re: Words or sayings you hate!
^ right on I felt most insecure growing up because I didn't like to fight and hated sport etc. It's my bugbear because they were all stupid and admired the hardest boy and all that you know it was a rubbish way to go about things. Very limited intelllectually.
