Pork scratchings used to be my guiltiest of snack pleasures, but I daren't eat them any more in case I ugly up my teeth and lard up my belly worse than they are

I remember I used to get bags of them from the butchers' for 50p. They weren't like the cheap sort where you feel like you're chewing rocks, they had plenty of the soft salty fattiness and the rind was nice and chewable.

Oh God, I want some. Instead I'm going to have some hummus on Ryvita for lunch. What have I become?
