Absolutely ******* awful

I lasted all of three days on these new anti-depressants.

I***8217;d been taking Citalopram since before Christmas but as they didn***8217;t seem to be helping at all my Doctor changed me over to Vortioxetine (Brintellix).

Maybe if I gave the vortioxetine some time to kick in they would improve matters but I shall never know because there***8217;s no ******* way I can tolerate another day of feeling like this just on the tiny off chance that I may eventually feel less ill. I will have killed myself or someone else long before I ever get that far!!!
I***8217;ve suddenly gone from having the dead flattened emotions that seem to be a common side effect of anti-depressants to feeling like I***8217;m on an emotional rollercoaster. I***8217;ve cried more in the last few days than I have in months. But the worst thing by far is that I***8217;ve turned into a sniping irritable old hag and am making the people I love unhappy. My poor dear sweet husband can do no right at the moment. Everything frustrates and irritates me
I don***8217;t know if this monster is the ***8216;real***8217; me or what?? But I want the bitch gone, for everyone***8217;s sake

I***8217;m also itching all over. It***8217;s like having little prickly needles under my skin. Anti-histamines aren't helping, the sedative effect of a benzodiazepine isn't helping, distraction isn***8217;t helping. It***8217;s happening 24/7 and is like a form of torture - probably no more than I deserve.

I***8217;ve hit rock bottom. Surely the only way from here is up?

I was reading the leaflet of side effects that came with the new anti-depressants and it mention ***8216;itching all over***8217;. Seems like a bit of a coincidence. Anyway, I***8217;ve now thrown them in the bin. I knew they would be a waste of time!

I'm freezing, central heating is broken and can't get anyone out till Monday.
We had 2 oil filled radiators and 2 fan heaters from last time it happened but lent them to people and never got them back.
My daughter has one of the radiators but is working long hours, she lives in another town and I no longer drive so can't call round for it.
I actually sat in the kitchen with the grill on earlier just to warm up a bit.

Fingers crossed, it will be a little milder over the weekend and come Monday night you***8217;ll feel as snug as a bug in a rug indoors again

Fed up with my brother and dad.
I've been at my boyfriend's all week Brother and dad had a massive row , some really nasty things were said apparently. Brother left and came here cos he has no where else to go. He keeps saying how my parents might split up (I doubt it) sometimes I think he wants to split them up . He's acting like there's a crisis in the family but I don't know if he's just over reacting. He's been talking non stop about it and slagging dad off. He can never see what he's doing wrong.
I really don't know the solution to this.
What is the solution??
