If I had been offered a job with specialised training would I have left in year ten? You bet your bottom dollar I would have. I didn't have someone to look up to who I thought: that could be me. I was savvy enough not to delve into fashion or gossip magazines. I read music and film magazines. Books.

I know what genuine translated as. I was a genuine victim of unfortunate life circumstances. I had genuinely pushed myself too hard. It was a genuine meltdown. I would genuinely move on and figure it all out my own way if given time. But I didn't have the luxury of peace and quiet time space support love understanding. I had just enough rest to be able to stay out of the red. I was a shadow of my former self.

I didn't leave because they did not want to have kids with a person that they perceived to be damaged. I wanted a grown up relationship with someone who could say they loved me out loud, and most importantly I was afraid that they would lose control again. They were a ticking time bomb. I had to leave.

^

think it's basically a blog / periodic dairy, in the form of a thread,...

For those who joined and possibly didn't know till later that the blog facility existed,..

A problem shared is a problem halved,...?

It's probably quite cathartic to have a 'public' blog?

Kicking me while I was down made him a dirty fighter and as a martial artist, the last person I wanted and expected to be with was one who would use such abhorrent underhand tactics.

I won't ever stop writing. I don't know what will happen when I open up and talk. If getting it off my chest, a problem shared is a problem halved will be enough.
