Short answer is, yes, more than anything the doctors have given me over decades, but I haven't been on SSRIs.

It's not from the doctors, and it isn't cannabis oil a la Rick Simpson, but what they call an extract of the flowers, in oil form. Just had a look online, and Rick Simpson type oil seems to be more available here (EU) than the last time I looked. Might look into it. I know you can make your own if you know what you're doing, and have some good quality bud.

But it might be a temporary thing with me, if I try SSRIs, and find them ok. I feel I've had really bad treatment from psychiatry over the years.
