Re: Country/folk music.
I seem to remember being jiggled about as a toddler to this (you know how parents swing you about to `dance` when you're teeny), mine were into country in the 70s, we had many a go-to album. |

Re: Country/folk music.
^Ummm...I want to say Australian? Is the only song of his I've ever heard (think I came across it on a TV show?) I only knew him as her hubby
EDIT: Also just realised I only know Miranda Lambert for this and being divorced from the guy from the The Voice US who is now with Gwen Stefani. Clearly my celeb gossip game is stronger than any other subject. |

I keep posting this and it keeps disappearing. Got to have this masterpiece! It's the real deal. A song for the broken. Think it just has the edge on Waiting Around to Die for me. |

^^ I really like Laura Marling and she and Johnny Flynn are great together
^ That's a good song, I also like the fact that in the picture he is holding a chicken. |

Re: Country/folk music.
Some people call Gordon Lightfoot ‘The Canadian Bob Dylan’ maybe for his songwriting ability rather than musical style. Anyway, both of these songs can make me stop whatever I’m doing and tune out for a few minutes, almost like an out of body experience sort of thing. The first one is a maritime folk somg with a sweet prog-rock synthesiser in the middle.
And here’s Glen Campbell covering my favourite ever band |

I'm not sure if they really count as folk, but she does have the most beautiful voice ever.
