Just how intense are these game marathons you're having you nutjob?
You don't get through questions that quickly because the thinking time really adds up.
There's a ton of cards and as long as you're not memorising all the answers as you go it'll last for a loooong time

It turns out I'm absolutely awful at Dobble. We played about 15 rounds and I lost them all I just can't do it for some reason. Maybe I have slow eyes, or a slow brain. My sister won about 10 rounds and my parents won the rest.

Brilliant game, for both children and adults. Had it out at a party of grown-up recently and we all enjoyed it (although we were all drunk)

I played it again last night when it was just me and one other person and I still lost every game I just can't see the pairs quick enough and then when there's a new card put down I have to start again and take just as long and it just continues like that. Maybe I should just throw it on a fire.

The trick is to just call out random and place a card, I find people very rarely check

Looking at graphics tablets and was going to get a Bluetooth Wacom tablet for £120. Decide to get a usb HUION HS610 Graphics Tablet for less than half that is supposed to also work on Android.

Need to see if it is any good plan to use it on After Effects, Photoshop and Zbrush. Need to try and learn because I am completely clueless how to use these programs apart from a few YouTube vids.

Not bought for myself, but my sister gave me a film developing kit for Christmas. I usually send rolls away in the post to get developed (which is a good service - it's cheap and fast) and then scan everything at home. My sister thought I would enjoy doing the whole process myself though, which I suppose I might... but it seems a bit daunting how easy it would be to make a tiny mistake and ruin a whole roll. I've just watched a few videos online and I'm sure I could get the hang of it eventually, but it's making me anxious just thinking about having to check temperatures and volumes of chemicals and getting timings right and stuff like that.

I'm 30 in a few weeks and have just bought some rather tight troggers of the kind I've been admiring for a while. I can't work out if they look good or if it's midlife crisis talking though. I seem to still pass for early 20s so think I can get away with them...

D'aw. Thunks. I've still not made my mind up about them. I planned to be naughty and take them for a test drive with the label still tucked inside tomorrow.

Yes. Can never have too many holes to pop something into is my motto.

Bread, cereal, apples and.... chocolate!!

I think i need to broaden my snack options cos there's far too much reliance on dark chocolate. I do have some cashews leftover but they're the dregs and are super salty. It annoys me that they salt them in the first place - is that to preserve them? Can you unsalt them? Rinse them under a tap? .... Hoover them through a strainer?

^ It goes 15.5 mph, which is faster than it sounds. My commute to work has never been so fun.

You can actually hack the scooter to remove the speed limit

O__o

Can't you get that sort of thing on pornhub?

For some reason, unsalted nuts are always mega expensive! I buy unsalted pistachio nuts in their shells and they're always more expensive than the salt ones and have one less ingredient. Guess they are classed as health foods so they always jack up the price for that.

You can get unsalted pecans as well, yep! They're really pricey though because they're considered a super food so have the superfood tax added.

Unsalted nuts are usually in the health food section where the dry lentils etc. are and sometimes they have them in the baking section. And sometimes they have them in the cereal bar/snacking areas in smaller packets - mixed with seeds and raisins.
Yeah, i'm shopping at Lidl so i'm a bit limited, and it's only a mild annoyance anyway. There's bound to be a simple way to unsalt them, i'll look into that.

It's not a randy thing, just sounds amusingly strange. Although who knows? I've never seen it, could be my thing.

Packet? These are loose cashews i'm talking about. There are three types in the Lidl i shop: cashew, almond and pistacchio.

I'll keep my eye out for the packets but the value probably lies in the loose one's.

Food shopping, amounting to £79 ... !!

My cashew expenditure has plateaued, which is one small nugget of good. I spent £15 on booze - hopefully the majority of it will be left for Saturday night. A fiver on dark chocolate - why on earth can't i buy a large bar of this shit.. ?? I have to buy four 125g bars in their little cardboard jackets, like it's a luxury item - just give me a big chunk of it ffs and cut the packaging!

I've cut back recently - I suppose I spend about £40 pw but also might buy bits and bobs (when not in lock down) from other places. Not sure what that would bump it to.
It's also more if I buy booze or toiletries.
