Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
The agreement about cookies being stored that pops up on almost every website I visit. A small amount of stupid paranoid whiners kicking up a fuss about nothing creates law that affects normal people negatively and constantly. Well done.
TL;DR "Oh but human riggggghhhhts!!, priiiiivacy!!" |

^ once we're out of the EU we can have all the cookies we want! But who called them cookies anyway? Who's going to say no to that? Better to call them something nobody really likes, like fig rolls.

The way you get your shopping thrown at you at great speed at Lidl and Aldi checkouts,
Even though I'm not bagging, but simply putting all my shopping back into a trolley right beside me, I still can't keep up, and my messages keep almost falling onto the floor, WTF! I'm still picking up the pieces and they're shouting at me parrot-like "CASH OR CARD?" good job it's cheap, otherwise I wouldn't step foot in the bloody place, It's such an unfriendly customer experience. |

Dithering about whether to buy things online that say only one item left (like flipping expensive cycling bib tights with 20% off) then when you finally decide to get them someone else has already snapped them up.
This has happened to me twice in as many days, I hope it's not the same person getting all the stuff I want. |

My doctors surgery. The chemist made an urgent request last week for my prescription as they didn't have it last week. So I went in today thinking well I've left plenty of time for it to be sorted but nope. They had to phone the surgery to find out it hadn't been actioned
My doctor (who I never see as I hate her) isn't there so there gonna get some other doctor to do it. *sigh* |

When people pose with sedated animals, usually tigers, for photos.
When people oversell their degrees- usually on dating sites. When people moan about people that walk slow. When people knuckle crunch. When people zone out on a tv while you're having a conversation. When people can't take a hint. |

Technology. Half the time it doesn't make your life easier because you have to go through so much crap for things to actually work.

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
^^ what is! Last night trying to get anything to use as a way of transferring stuff from my phone to my laptop - namely txt messages that I want to keep (still haven't managed it)
Upgrading my phone to get a cheaper deal - the website being wonky, the chat person doing everything but answering my actual question Now the track your order facility isn't working as it telling me it doesn't recognise my order number (which I copy and pasted it) Stuff like that really. i seem to be having a day of it! Lol, now it's Excel won't open on my laptop for God know what reason...., |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
Newer phones usually offer to transfer all your data directly or you could backup from the phone to google cloud and restore on your new phone. Icloud automatically backs up these things iirc.

The council. Why they wait 5 years to throw issues at you. I think it's frigging ridiculous. Have spent the last hour or so, going through boxes to try and find my mums will and renunciation etc.. Seeing the CAB tomorrow thankfully.

When companies want you to use modern technology and when you try to log in your account number is incorrect (when they've texted me the number) your post code doesn't match our records.
Please call us and you're on hold for three days. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
the way my family are now basically ignoring me more and more,.
we have group text chat in WhatsApp, and whatever I post as a response is never replied to or answered,. what another sibling has said before me is responded to, and I'm ignored. yeah,. I get it,. you all think I'm not good enough to be part of your family,.. great. I love it how you will get bullied for years,. then the same people who bullied you will treat you like shit because of your low self-esteem and awkward manner ( due to being bullied for years ) |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
- People who say "can I get", instead of "can I have" – especially when they don't say please.
- People who say "...and so I was like, and then he was like" instead of "and so I said and then he said" - People who don't acknowledge you when you stop for them at a zebra crossing. I want to literally ****ing run them over. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
Business speak, specifically the addition of extra words that add no extra meaning, for example, I report up into x, you report to x, not up into x. We're going to do x going forward, rather than, we're going to do x. Business language should be plain, clean, and uncluttered. Minimalist, if you will.
