Withdrawn. Been trying to make a doctors appointment all afternoon and no one is picking up. Has the most god awful music on loop each time I wait.

Everyone around be said I was being paranoid, that I wasn't the only one being held back, that they just hadn't had the chance to train me , or figured I was at uni and didn't need training. Thank god you are well away from those bottom-feeders, they sound truly awful.
Don't let the opinions of these nasty people affect your own sense of worth. I've been in toxic work places in the past & appreciate how they can grind you down.

^ I agree. From what I know of you here, Pablo (and your wonderful blog I've been perusing), you can do much better for yourself, and no doubt will soon enough. Hope you're feeling better.

Thanks. Hopefully it is a good thing, I'm still annoyed that I didn't get to go on my own terms though.

Also thanks, appear, it's good to know that someone is reading my nonsense. The stats aren't great, I need to learn how to publicise!

I want to echo what the others have said about you Pablo. The two things I've probably noticed the most about you is your intelligence and your humour, which will stand you in good stead for the development opportunities I'm sure you'll receive elsewhere.

^^ Don't put it down, it's great! Like all blogs it'll take a while to garner a regular readership, but it'll get there.

And I very much concur with your latest post. My recommendation to you is to move on to the double sausage and egg McMuffin. Though be warned, if you do, you won't be coming back from it.

Wish I could get to sleep. Head's locked into those lanes of thought which refuse to untangle.

pretty angry, had my 1st driving test and was brilliant except for a roundabout where some total w****r in a van approached the roundabout doing like 60mph didn't look like he was going to stop i panicked and changed lane and because there was a car behind it counted as dangerous and i failed, apart from that i had 2 minors for hesitating which were fair enough and if a car hadn't been there i would of passed bye bye £100+ , on the positive side i did really well with my nerves and it was over really quickly.

Like batman on his day off, sitting on his bed stroking his pet dog. (not a euphemism).
Just need a Robin to come crashing through the door shouting "LETS GO BATMAN!!"... 'SOCK!! .....CAPOW!'

I failed first time. I underestimated the speed of an oncoming car when I was pulling out on a main road, the examiner had to hit the breaks. It gets easier.

Like a something without a something. Where the second item in the analogy is essential for the normal functioning of the first item.

Feeling pretty rubbish. We're doing volunteer reviews at work (we all supervise volunteers) and one volunteer had a review with my colleague today and I'm pretty sure she's complained about me because I heard her mention me and that she didn't want me to overhear anything (I was in the room next to them so could hear this part before they moved). I feel rubbish and useless and stuff because it's like I can't do my job, and I'm worried about if my manager decides to talk to me about it, and then I'm just annoyed with myself for being so sensitive and everything. I don't even know what I've done wrong either. Sigh, I guess I'll just have to wait and see and try and forget about it for now. ;/

^ always hard when you hear stuff like that. But, I wouldn't worry about it. I think if the manager feels there's an issue he/she will come to you about it. And when they do- it maybe tempting to see and experience as painful criticism, but also in a way you can try turn that around and intepret it as possible useful feedback. (if it's valid)

My health doesn't seem to have been very good these past couple of weeks.

Strangely for me, I've had no appetite for the past 2 weeks, and I only have to eat a small amount of food and I feel full up. This is most unlike me. I've also felt very slightly sick at the same time.

I've also had nose bleeds every day this past week. The worst was yesterday, which lasted half an hour! Thankfully it stopped, as the NHS says if it lasts longer than half an hour, you should go to A&E!!.

Maybe its stress. But I've been stressed for as long as I can remember, and I've never been like this before.

Aww - that's cute

I got a teddy bear and card - from my dog - I gave him a big dog biscuit (we're in love)

I feel...

On the plus side - I feel relieved that I'm not having to do something that I was dreading in a 'I feel sick thinking about it', sort of way.

On the minus side - I feel guilty about not doing it and keep thinking about it, mulling it over, fretting and worrying in a 'I feel sick thinking about it', sort of way.

Result - a draw (with a slight bias toward the dark side in a 'I feel sick thinking about it', sort of way).

Feeling like its just another day, have never really been bothered about it tbh, because even if I wasn't single I'd still dislike the day for all the commercialised crap and people treating it like its a second Christmas (though I may be exaggerating there lol). Sure it would be nice to have someone to share the day with, but then again so it would every day of the year.

Feeling crappy.

Staying at my sister's as it's my niece's birthday. Last night I was looking at the forum on my phone.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Reading" I said.
"What are you reading?"
"It's a forum for people who suffer from social anxiety"
"Well everyone gets that" she said curtly. And with those four words she completely dismissed it and moved on.
I didn't bother to try and explain it to her.
