Default When the doctor asks...

"How can I help you?" (or whatever they say), what do/did you say?

I'm anxious for my appointment to go well as I don't want to make a fool out of myself. I've never talked to anyone regarding the possibility of me having SA, so would find it very difficult to stomach if things went badly.

Thank you.

Try and write things down on paper beforehand so you can at least read it to him incase you forget the best way of explaining it.

Also, in the unlikely event that your doc says no, just make an appointment to see another one.

I just told my doc that I'm sure I have social anxiety and it is really interfearing with my life so I was hoping I could give meds a try. I think she then asked me to give her a few examples or whatever, can't quite remember. Anyway, it all went totally smoothly and she gave me a script.
