Depression and anxiety often go together, like fish and chips, Ant and Dec, Chaka Demus and Pliers. Which came first? The depression or the anxiety? I guess at the heart of social anxiety is the feeling that you're no good. I sometimes think that life is worthless and all the things we distract ourselves with are just a pointless way to pass the time until we die. Sure, who wouldn't want to let a ray of sunshine like me brighten their life? I don't want to think like this though. I like The Cure but I've never been a Goth. There's a ****ing dress code? Too much effort dude. I've sometimes felt that everyone must be looking at me like I'm a ****ing weirdo, I am a ****ing weirdo and "When you're strange..." They aren't thinking that though, they probably just see me as a normal person the fools! (insert sound of manic laughter). This just makes my plans all that easier.

That's all rubbish though. I'm not some Bond villian with dastardly ambitions. Was Doctor No so bad though? He had a nice cat and I'd trust someone who's nice to animals before I'd trust a misoginistic, syphilitic killer, but that's just me. There's only one type of pussy that guy was interested in and I bet he didn't call back or pay child maintenance. What was Do No's evil plan? Couldn't have been that bad.

Well that was a bit of a diversion. What was I talking about? Oh yeah depression leads to anxiety which leads to depression which leads to blah blah blah. I'm depressed because I'm alone and I'm alone because I'm anxious, which makes me depressed. What a mind ****! To stop being depressed all I need to do is stop being anxious. To stop being anxious all I need to do is stop being depressed. Simples!

Yeah, this past week i've felt the nights drawing in thing especially and i'm having to cut my time procrastinating about whether i should go for a walk or not. Of course, this time next week we'll be an hour ahead and i'll have even less time. It won't matter soon enough anyway because i'll be too busy delivering parcels/xmas shit

I may ask my field manager if she can find someone to cover my Saturdays for the xmas period. Looking at the period where we have to work back-to-back Sundays (26th Nov/3rd Dec), cos of the high volumes, is very depressing :/
