^ I used to do that when I got invites out. Not turn up and not tell anyone I wasn't going to either. I don't think you're bitter, and I completely understand why you chose not to go.

A friend of mine invited me over earlier this afternoon, said he had a free house (it's not often that he does) and i was enthused to begin with, but then kinda pulled out and then ignored his calls and a text.

I don't see myself being in the same dire situation I'm in forever, yet the way out of it still seems a little unclear. Dunno if this a good or a bad thing.

My Auntie collapsed this morning and had to be rushed to hospital. She's in intensive care, her condition is critical, and the doctor said that she will probably die. She had a brain aneurysm
 It all seems pretty bizarre at the moment.

I'm halfway through an application form for a bookseller job at Waterstones. Suddenly, I'm overcome with a feeling of futility and "What's the ****ing point-ness". They never, ever reply. No one ever replies.
Seriously tempted to go Rimmer on the thing and just write "I am a fish" 400 times. Probably wouldn't make much difference to the bored shop manager who will no doubt spend all of 5 seconds glancing over it before chucking it in the bin. |

 @biscuits - still the same. We find out tomorrow whether she lives or dies, but they said to expect the worst, as the chances of survival are very slim, and even if she does survive, she'll be mentally and physically impaired. |
