If you were given £21,000 could you create an income stream
I’m watching benefits Britain and there’s an interesting experiment where these people are given £21,000 and see if it changes their life at all, and whether they could somehow manufacture an income stream.
The couple in it, when got given money improved their looks. And had quite a good idea of making money via car boot sales and buying a van. (Alas he couldn’t drive but was a good idea) Would you be able to create an income stream if you had 21,000? I suppose 21,000 could buy a course or two. Might even be able to buy land. I don’t think I would though. |

You could buy a vehicle and become a self-employed Amazon driver. I know someone who does exactly that and earns £250 a day.

that's some good ideas. Although some would be challenging. Burger, Fish and chip van and ice cream van it's trying to convince all sorts of people that your stuff is good. Buying cars you'd have to know what you're doing.
Whats 6% on *£26,000 (is on the programme) That's about £1500 a year. £100 a month income. |

Wouldn't any business you put the money into kind of depend on no one else having the same idea? Like, you start a small business and manage to stay afloat, and then someone else starts a similar local business and suddenly half your customer base is gone. I suppose that's how you get burger van wars.
I wonder too how many small businesses require so much time and yield so little profit that it works out less than minimum wage. Quote:

^ I'm not sure about how many deliveries, but he always goes home with no outstanding deliveries to make. He says he works 11am-6pm, but I'm guessing he might need to go over the 6pm at times if he hasn't finished all deliveries. I think he has to cover his fuel, he uses his own van, not Amazon's, and he says he's self-employed. I don't know the guy too well, he's one of the dads at school, but I'll find out more.

I'd set up a social surrogacy agency where people can rent a look-a-like to go to social situations on their behalf. They'll always been 1 hour late to the event so people are merry enough to mistake them for the person.

I guess I missed out the most obvious in my answers which is my actual job I left school did my apprenticeship gradually bought all my tools then a work vehicle and turned that into an income stream that I'm still using now nearly 30 years later..
21k turned into x amount of earnings a year and a bad back. Wish I'd just bought bitcoin would have been a lot easier. |
