I think it's because, as McDonalds originates in the US, it isn't used, because vinegar, as far as I'm aware, isn't as popular in the US as it is here for use on chips/fries.

I got fired today and I should be sad but I'm not. My boss was taking the piss out of an african lad at work because of his race and because he only has one hand. I can't remember exactly what I said to my boss but it was something along the lines of f___ing c__t I'll knock you out if you don't leave him alone.

I told my mum and she wasn't impressed, but my step dad congratulated me

Well, at least you got fired for the best possible reason. You did the right thing I think. You can't just let stuff like that slide, even if it is your boss.

It's best to be fired than to just let shit like that go unchallenged. You did the right thing.

I'm seriously thinking of taking a plunge into doing an OU computing degree. I never thought I would ever take out a loan for anything, but a student loan is becoming an actual option.

Do it Buck! You should look into doing a distance learning degree through a physical university as it's cheaper! My distance learning degree costs me £1000 per year.
