A pet cat. My mum doesn't even like the neighbours cat coming in so I can only have one if I moved out.

The other day the neighbours cat encouraged me to slow down and observe my surroundings like he does. Idk if he intentionally got me to do it.

^^ I know the one's. I remember the sugar coated one's, Toppers, back in the day. I think it were Toppers anyway. I'm not a fan of the oatbix/oatabix/whatever - give me wheat any day.

I figured this method is easier and more humane (not that I give a toss about that) than bashing at it with a book, as happened earlier, then have to watch it dragging itself around the table with its last remaining leg *shudders*

Yeah the problem with those grill things is ending up with a unit full of revolting bits of insects Iâ€™d then have to dispose of.
With a racket, one zap and they are kaput forever - then carried to the window at armâ€™s length to be unceremoniously booted out.

To get into the habit of waking up earlier so I can do a few things before starting work - as opposed to waking up at 8.55 to log on at 9. Seemingly impossible, however.

I find I can read on my phone but itâ€™s distracting. I think naturally smartphones are built more for video or photo experiences. Stuff that is more stimulating. The way we use them, might be unhealthy, but is the way we are meant to use them.

This has made me think of online education in the past. The way we teach online isnâ€™t always optimised. Expecting a student to read a lot if itâ€™s an online, screen heavy class is probably wrong cause lcd/led hd screens are too stimulating to read on. Even when I went uni me and other classmates were saying how we couldnâ€™t read PDFâ€™s from the laptop.

Itâ€™s much easier to read from printed paper.
