Default My Dad's memorial service

It was good and the DVD shown was touching. Good closure for my mom. Not too SA, but it was hard at times with all the people.

It sounds like it was a nice tribute. It must have been very sad for you too.

From my experience these things are very difficult on a personal level, ie you dont really know how to feel. Your dad looked like a imposing figure! I expect he had a good life, he looks like a guy who did not let shyness impede him! (I dont mean that in a bad way). I dont think you ever find 'closure' whatever that is, at these events, but I really hope you had some good memories of your dad, and those were the memories you relived today.

Take care

Ben

A lovely written tribute, Starrfin; what a full and positive life your Dad lived.
