What do you need to feel like you are good enough
This has been on my mind. I’m attempting to stop porn. I always seem to relapse so expect that I might. But I noticed everytime I try I realise that I miss some of the people that I follow and wonder what content some of them make. I do have a favourite pornstar but now I’m noticing that not watching her content feels comparable to missing a person that I get really attached to in real life. In fact, I think the last woman that I got really attached to in real life reminded me of the pornstar by appearance and body.
It feels like me watching some porn is to actually try and feel some need for approval by someone I find attractive or cool. In my mind I need approval by certain people to feel like I am good enough. This is obviously irrational but that’s how my mind thinks. There are other things probably that I might post later. |

Have you heard of something called a parasocial relationship? It can be what people develop with people they watch or read about online, perhaps this also extends to sex workers.
