Describe your handbag and list its contents
This is obviously for the girls only but guys can contribute by commenting on items or character analysis!
My handbag is a capacious sequined blue and pink tapestry bag decorated with pom-poms, won by my son on a tombola. Its contents which I listed while clearing it out are (or were): Blue tissue from work kitchen Avon sunglasses in case Pink nail file still in packet Black pen Bank paying-in book Mini germ killing sanitising hand gel X 2 Taxi firm business card Bistro flyer handed to me in street Distance glasses in case Asthma inhalers (2) Elephant keyring with house key (present from my brother on his Eastern travels) Hair gel spray Empty reading glasses case (was wearing them) Thin beige hair band Tatty black purse Avon Fantasque spray Amplex roll-on deodorant Nicotinell extra strength gum Purple hair brush Bus tickets and empty packets (now in bin) Another pen Mobile phone Stamps MP3 player Hair appointment card (I'm going to be a model) (now in purse) 3 pen tops (now in bin) Avon lip and cheek tint (shade Peek-a-boo) Avon Pink Dusk lipstick Key to drawer at work Wrigley spearmint gum (one piece left) A button |

A small, black, Coach bag with a silver buckle that I got for Christmas
inside: black wallet lip balm Clinique, tinted gloss in raspberry (I wear this everyday) cell phone ipod silver compact mirror keys, lots of them on a huge keychain a receipt from the Chapel Hill Public library (overdue book fine) a Zantac pill a loose, cumpled-up dollar some loose change in the zipper pocket |

Mine's a rectangular black one with a long, over-the shoulder strap, the brand is "Rosetti" and the contents are thus:
drivers license library card gift card for a popular bookstore chain gym membership card credit card key chain (with attendant keys) a five pound note from the bank of Scotland (nostalgic value) bank reciept 2.80 in change a small silver spoon (used to eat yoghurt with at work weeks ago.... :embarass: ) Loreal "true match" makeup a grocery receipt someone's # scrawled on a post-it pad a crumpled and outdated to-do list on lined yellow paper a car-wash coupon 2 business cards from my hairdresser's my former roomate's business card chapstick lip balm (flavourless, colourless) my employer's mailing address on another post-it a prepaid calling card (expired) a business card for my phone company a business card from my former flat complex I like to feel equipped for all situations. |

i don't normaly carry a bag unless i can't jam all the stuff i need into my pockets.
but when i do all i have is pepermint green wallet with picture of my family in the front 20 mayfairs or more lighter mobile phones vodafone and T-mobile ones it's only a small dark green couldaroy bag

Haha I was going to make a thread like this but thought it might be a bit nosey..
Ok well i'm gonna list my current handbag i'm using as i switch handbags almost once a week =p My current handbag is a beige one-strap bag free with ElleGirl magazine (i think) Inside is: A purple purse with a cat on it (inside is about 50p, matalan card, nationwide card, 2 cinema tickets, ickle card from a mcdonalds toy, annnd my tesco clubcard keyfob), shopping list, lots of reciepts from nationwide machines, tin of Vaseline, Impulse white musk body spray, mini can of 'clubbers hairspray', mobile phone, tissues, fold-up mirror and brush, lady things =p, Pack of Icey chewing gum, breath spray, hair band, paracetomol. Wow, seeing it listed on here makes me suprised i can fit it all in that bag! |

I pretend I'm still at uni and take my backpack with me everywhere: stil carry my scientific calculator with me as well. :embarass: That and the usual: wallet / keys / mp3 player / bag of drugs.

i hate carrying stuff. the only thing i carry that i dont really need is a dessicated seahorse with no nose, other than that its usually just keys, mp3 player, sweet wrappers and money, usually a sketchbook and pen as well.

I have a handbag, but I don't use it, it's a little one about A5 size, with two little handles, in red suede with a Dachshund on the front, I named him Eric, anyway.....
I carry everything I need in my pockets - 2 purses - 1 for notes and cards, 1 for change (although I have lost one, might be what a handbag is useful for) My mobile My mp3 player A small tin of Vaseline lip balm stuff My keys  Will repost when I find my other purse, lol, or it's going to annoy me! Bugs

Quite a large stone coloured cotton bag with a long brown leather strap. I bought it in the US while I was travelling for work.
Usuall contents 1. Book: Angels and Demons by Dan Brown 2. Nurofen 3. Keys 4. Membersip card for gym 5. Comb with handle and hair band tied around it 6. Digital camera 7. Another hair band 8. Petrol receipt 9. Security pass for work 10. Unbrella 11. mobile phone 12. Factor 30 sunblock 13. Pencil 14. £1 coin Todays Extras Diana Ross CD to listen to in the car and at work Things bought home from work ( I tidied my desk today) Winter Ski Gloves (they have been at work since winter) A rough guide book; first time around the world Corporate credit cad bill Company goodies celebrating the companies 135th anniversary |

I have my 'boring' bag for work (black and square and can fit lots of stuff) and my weekend bag which is a mini backpack.
So, currently in my work bag is: An empty Evian bottle (refill it with ice cold water once I get to work) Library book - 'The Dream of a Beast' by Neil Jordan, not that good, but it's preferable to staring into space at lunch break! CD player containing Green Day 'American Idiot' CD (I'm saving up for an mp3 player!) Hairbrush Packet of tissues Work shift pattern for this week Cereal bar Pen Lip balm Small mirror Paracetamol Chewing gum House keys on a chain and a keyring that says 'Happiness is a warm puppy' Bus pass Security pass for work Purse containing about £7 (roll on payday!) Wow, that's loadsa stuff!! It's all essential though... :D |

In my bag; one purse a receipt for salad sprinkle and breakfast sprinkle from Holland and Barrett a shopping list (dettol wipes, bleach floor cleaner, kitchen roll and toilet rim thingies) one cinema stub for Little Fish a receipt for BHS for two pairs of earrings for £1.50 (bargain!!) lipstick lip gloss vaseline bum wipes (for when you have to use icky public toilets and there's no toilet paper) spray deo (for when you have to use icky public toilets and they honk) mango adorably perfume stick sunglasses 20p a wee box with my st john's wort extra mints old underground tickets bottle of water I have millions of handbags, but the one I am using today is a gray straw one with sparkly sequins. |
