Man United for the win I think, albeit narrowly
They seem to have a run of form just now,
Whereas liverpool have seemingly been heading in the other direction,
I'm not very knowledgeable about football though,
Personally, I'd like to see Manchester United win,
Hopefully Rashford will net a couple

but, knowing my lack of knowledge Liverpool will probably beat Man Utd. 7-0 or something silly like that

I'd agree that football is just a big corporate business,
Fans are their reliable source of income and are manipulated into giving more money on a regular basis.
It is all a little bit silly, the whole phenomenon.
It's all created out of nothing really,
The whole spectacle is essentially two groups of foreign players kicking a small ball up and down a piece of grass, and getting paid fortunes to do it,
So, the players are more than happy to oblige.

I'm sure it's just a way for people to forget their real problems for a few hours at the weekend and generate a little detour for their troubled minds.

Thankfully I have very little involvement in it, other than watching a 3 minute highlights video on my tea break at work if it happens to pop up on the generic YouTube feed.

Yeah, i like to keep my toe in so i've still got something to add to the conversation, though i'm a largely removed from it now. It's amazing how much can change in so little time now with football. I've only 'stepped away' for about 3 years and half the players and staff have changed for most (if not all) premier league clubs.

Liverpool unbeaten 4, Man U unbeaten 4. I might go Liverpool win as they're at home.

What a result from Arsenal, by the way. We were 2-0 down, 2-2 up until the 96th minute, and Nelson with a banger in the 97th minute to make it 3-2.

Anyway, I'm hoping for a Liverpool win. Man City chasing us is scary enough. I also want to see Liverpool challenge for the top 4, because you know, fk spurs.
