Default "A spiral light display in the sky mystifies Norwegians"

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8404991.stm

Whatever the reason behind it, it's very impressive.

There's a possible explanation here...

Looks like a projection on a cloud, like the batman thing. You can even see the beam source thing...

No, that beam was coming from the spiral itself, apparently.

Lol, dont believe it. But i'd love to have one of the projectors, you could have some great fun with it. You could put message from god or something.

I dont think a spiraling rocket would be that stable would it?

Well, it can't be a projection as that doesn't make any sense, unless they were projecting the image onto something that was enormous and thousands of feet in the air. The Batman sign, is, you know, not real.

This gives a clearer explanation.

1) Isnt it rotating a bit slow for an out of control rocket?
2) The angle looks wrong, for it to be stable and spinning it has to be shooting 180% upwards, in the zoom in its facing the angle of the projection beam flat on.

Dont they meant the same projection seen from more than one place?

I would also imagine a spinning rocket would spin cos of unbalanced forces and would progressively spin faster and faster... To spin at a stable rate would be unusual.

I agree that it does seem to be rotating slowly. But it can spin at a stable rate since it's ejecting whatever it is (fuel?) at a similar rate which keeps it spinning at roughly the same speed. I would expect the trajectory of the missile to change however once the fuel runs out. Does that happen in the video? Link isn't working now.

And no black mamba it just goes black in the centre first then dissapears. I read it could be part of a plan to establish a new world order from a new religion, which uses projections to look like an alien invasion lol Blue Beam Project they called it. It does look like a projection to me, really wierd anyway.
