Went to my 1st SA Meet

Don't know if this is really worthy of the trophy room, but I attended my first SA meet in London at the George inn today. Whilst I was generally quiet or boring people with my problems I met some really nice people and you were all very welcoming. Thanks to you all and I look forward to the next meet!

I first went to my local SA group in Bristol for the first time about a year ago now and feel a lot more confident now than I used to back then - I think I'm even starting to get the hang of this conversation thing where I can talk to people in real life and actually string more than a handfull of words together.

I'm sure that you'll start to feel the benefits soon as well, especially if the group you go to arrange social events (as that can help you put into practice what you learn in the group).

Yes, definitely worthy of The Trophy Room, well done!
