I was watching some old TV shows on YouTube and wondering why some episodes were in b/w (by this time BBC and ITV were regularly broadcasting in colour) and learned about the ITV Colour Strike

The Colour Strike was an industrial action by technicians at all ITV companies from 13 November 1970 to 8 February 1971 (although some shows made during this period in black and white were having their first transmission as late as December 1971) who, due to a pay dispute with their management, refused to work with colour television equipment.

Just how good tea tree oil is. I have had a bit of experience with it, but it has blown me away the last week. I've had an annoying cyst bump on the side of my neck for well over a year, and it can irritate against a shirt collar. It bugged me. I finally got the energy to go to docs about it 2 weeks ago, only to be told the NHS don't remove/drain them any more and I'd have to go private...

Well hello tea tree oil! Since Sunday it has reduced it by a half already, hah! Take that, private healthcare. To think I could've treated it this easily for so long is a bit of a bummer, but OH WELL BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.
