lmao, that's funny. We had a guy turn up yesterday morning and duck under the shutter with the other staff. Apparently someone had told him to come for a trial day with us, but neither us not the area manager know anything about it and he had already been for a trial day at one of our other stores.

I don't believe it's true anyway, quite a few times they have not delivered claiming we were not at home, but we are a shop open 9-6 and the times they claimed we were out were during opening hours.

A lot of parcels turn up to the depots damaged because the sender is trying to save money by using crap packaging. I***8217;ve never had an issue with amazon though.

Just don***8217;t complain about the driver or you may find more parcels turning up damaged....

yes thats true.

I've seen so many badly wrapped parcels, one was a bottle of wine just wrapped up in paper! It was leaking somehow and i had to deliver it ,luckily recipient wasnt at home so i carded it.
They shouldve at least used bubble wrap or put it in a box!

For sure they do, we very often get mobile phones returned in a non padded envelopes via 2nd class untracked post, then they kick up a fuss when their item never arrives or arrives damaged voiding their warranty. Numpties.

I'm actually amazed at just how many of these phones do turn up and are undamaged, RM are pretty good in that respect.

When people say "I can't imagine such and such," they don't literally mean they can't imagine it, they mean they can't believe what they might imagine would actually happen. And, as it's not literal, this "I can't imagine" is itself imaginary - "I'm imagining that I can't imagine this thing that I've just imagined."
.

.
.
Um, this seemed to make sense before I typed it out.

I really don't understand anxiety (along with the rest of the world)
After several days of little or no anxiety and going out to a few places with no real issues I'm going to work this morning like a bag of nerves.
I spend a lot more time here than I do anywhere else so why the anxiety??

@spud
It's just a discussion, there is no animosity here between us, in case you are thinking that, Dougella is ace, we are just debating

I'm happy to agree to disagree on this one too.
