£1200 on Oasis tickets by mistake...

Can anyone help me?

I have made a major mistake with the gigs and tours website(aka see tickets) whilst trying to buy Oasis tickets this morning. After struggling to get past the 'site busy' page, i managed to reach the ticket order page and attempted to order tickets. After entering the order button my computer simply displayed an error page. Unfortunately, worried i would miss out on tickets, i tried again 3 times, convinced the site was down as it was very slow and kept crashing.

After coming home and checking me emails before, I have ended up with 24 tickets. This will cost me over £1200 which will complelty leave me with no money. I am devastated and need them to be canceled but according to the terms and conditions, no refunds can be given.

Does anyone know what i can do? What rights do i have?

I've no idea but I'd get onto them straight away and explain the situation. I know they say no refunds but in this situation they might be lenient.

This happened to me once when I tried ordering a couple of tickets for a concert for my brother, ended up ordering twice because the website wasnt responding right..

If I remember right we rang the ticket agency as soon as we could and explained what happened and they cancelled the two extra tickets no trouble.

Good i hope this company does the same for me. I only wanted 6 for me and a few friends. Im sure i am not the only one to keep trying lol

I think you'd be covered by 'The Distance Selling Regulations' which give you seven working days to cancel (send the tickets back).

Not 100% sure but maybe worth looking into.

I'd get on the phone as soon as theyre open in the morning if I were you..thats if they're open on saturday's

Surprised they let you do multiple orders for that amount, I thought they'd have a limit to try prevent touts from buying them up.

It says 6 tickets per household so maybe they will automatically cancel them for me. However, i have 4 emails saying i will be charged £300 lol

Im positive i will get 18 tickets canceled
