Default Herbal stuff

I mean what herbal stuff have you tried and used to help either with social anxiety or calm in the evenings?

Someone yesterday said Lavendar Tea. And I'm thinking does that really calm to drink it?

Camomile- is the one everyone knows.

Valerian- I tried once, just did something funny to my head.

Decaf green tea- I find has some effect. I might look at Matcha, which in theory is more concentrated L-Theamine impact.

Ashwangaha- I tried, it does calm down but also can cause anhedonia. Like a numbness.

Passion-flower - no clue

Lemon-grass- I didn't find this had much effect.

Lemon-balm? Not tried.

This won't be helpful but I have some CBD oil (2400mg) that doesn't seem to do anything and some herbal tea (Pukka Lemon, Ginger & Manuka Honey) but that's more because my throat never feels great and I feel the need to clear it often. Singers seem to drink lemony and honey drinks so I thought to copy them. But haven't noticed any benefit with that, either. I may have something these can't fix.

What helps me most is the neighbours not making noises. I'm sensitive to disturbances.

I keep meaning to try this tea:

It's a little pricy, but I'm worth it.

I tried those Kalms herbal tablets a while ago. Then after a few weeks I stopped taking them as I didn't see any benefits. Although they might have been more effective if I continued with them.

I was going to mention herbal teas, but I only drink them when I have a blockage. Such as green and camomile teas. Although I don't remember trying lavender tea before. So if this tea helps to calm me down and get me spraying, then pour me a cuppa!

I also tried nytol herbal tablets, but I didn't find them very effective. Whereas I found the non herbal nytol to be more effective. But of course the herbal nytol might be more effective for someone else.

Anyway, this post is sponsored by the word "Effective"

I drink chamomile, peppermint and green teas throughout the day while working because I like the taste rather than in an attempt to cure something or make me relax, I've never noticed any effect with those on anxiety (the only thing that works for me regarding that is "the green stuff that wasters use").

I really like Greek mountain tea (also called Cretan or Malotira), it's like a combination of chamomile, peppermint and rosemary, so if anyone likes any of those flavours they'd probably enjoy it.

I'd recommend taking Magnesium Threonate, L Theanine, Apigenin, 4000iu Vitamin D3 each day and Omega 3's with about 4:1 of DHA to EPA.

The above recommendations are based on what I learned from my masters in human health and performance and 10+ years working as a health and wellbeing coach. They've helped me tremendously, hopefully they'll help you
