Bit pissed off at myself for procrastinating so much today and didn't get some things that I wanted to done, but I did do some SA exposure stuff in the local town today, which is something I put off quite a bit like only I can do.

Went to a cafe by myself and sit there for a while without looking at my phone (my usual coping technique haha) and walked through town which was somewhat SA provoking walking past lots of the posh school kids, especially when they were behind me chucking a rugby ball about and laughing, I was convinced I was going to get the ball thrown at the back of my head lol. Then I went and sat on a bench for a while and looked over the pretty lawns in the sunshine and did some people watching which was actually pretty enjoyable, in the past I would have felt really self conscious and sad about being on my own, but now I don't get those thoughts at all really, I actually feel reasonably comfortable and happy in my own company finally, which is a nice feeling

Thanks Silent Treatment, it was a pretty useful little outing

Now I just need to do things like this on a regular basis and get out into the world more often.

Not sure it's an achievement more like a bloody miracle.
Survived the 0 -2 toddler/singing/rhyme group on Monday. Also had to travel and chat with a member of staff getting there and on the way back.
It went well on the whole. Felt a bit of a prat with no kid, yet had to join in for 'training' *eyeroll*. Amazed I didn't have some kind of sa melt down.

I finally got round to sending off for a copy of my birth certificate to replace the mysterious missing one, which I've been meaning to do for ages.

Managed to stand my ground and get away from a guy at a stall in a shopping centre trying to sell me expensive beauty products with "ingredients from the dead sea" without buying anything. I usually manage to dodge people at these kinds of stalls who try to convince you to part with your money, but this time i was on my own and i got dragged in. What made it even more difficult was that he demo'd a couple of products of me and he was really nice but they were expensive and i just didn't want the stuff anyway, but i somehow managed to convince him i was skint until payday.

I was assertive at work but not angry. It worked out really well. I find being calm and assertive very difficult.

Well survived another baby/toddler group. It was all a bit in dissaray as ******** is no longer doing it and the person who should be doing it was ill. So different staff and a lot of winging it going on.

Afterwards I went down to leisure center for my swimming assessment/chat. Eeeek.
I was surprisingly fine in reception, she came out had a few words and told me to go and get changed and have a quick 'see what you can do' (not a lot haha). She came and found me and I took the plunge.
Did a length of pretty appalling breast stroke whilst she watched. Had a chat about what I wanted to achieve etc and have agreed to 1 to 1 lessons till xmas and then join group lessons. Probably for the best as I am crap.

I have to say being in the pool itself felt lovely. It'll be nice to go frequently if I can improve a) my ability and b) my upper body strength, which I've now realised is also appalling!

Still, not bad, I didn't think i'd ever get as far as actually going so - woo hoo.

Well done Mo, I'd love to go swimming again.
Went a lot when my daughter was at college but not been for 5 years now and wouldn't be able to go alone.

Cleaned myself up after self harming last night. Had a bad night with flashbacks. Went to work and now I'm sitting in the waiting room to see my doctor.

I did what I think will be my farthest cold weather bike ride ever (it's not uch I know but I really don't do much of anything).

Plus I used the Relive extension on Strava which is quite nice.

Marshalled at a race. Scariest part meeting and hanging around with club beforehand, easier once moving out onto the course. With the freezing wind i was lucky to get a nice scenic spot in the sun(should've taken camera) with no mishaps.
I soon got a dry mouth saying 'well done' and can't stand still lol. Recognize most of the runners and they look smaller from a marshalling perspective rather than in the pack racing them or in photos.
When we went back to the finish i decided i wasn't going worry about hanging around trying to socialise so handed my bib in and immediately escaped.

^well done for helping the mum with her pram. Lovely thing to do and in my opinion it takes quite a lot of courage to ask someone if theyre okay. Go you!

Last night I went to a film night with brother and actually spoke and took part in the discussion at the end :D
