Tech question: I like the sound of this paypal app. thingie and wouldn't mind using it, but i'm on a pay-as-you-go sim and have minimised all the data usage on my phone (to prevent it gobbling up credit).

Having had a look at the download page, it seems to be a needy app that requires that you allow it access to this, that and the other.

Is it workable if i don't change my settings?

So, if when i want to use it, i turn on the data and remember to turn it off after, it shouldn't be too greedy?

My payg carrier charge 1p per MB.

Good enough I suppose. It's not really too unreasonable now, but then I haven't seen how it looks on the rest of the forum.

If anyone has insults for me over this, which is clearly the case, you can at least insult me directly.

I'm only joking.

I actually agree that it was too long (my username, I mean), so I'm glad the mods relaxed the six-month rule on this occasion. This one shouldn't skew the forum.

^ dont think so but thats rather interesting too . This was just a number you could call to say anything you liked so id imagine a lot of the messages were very dull.

I've just taken my socks of, sat back and noticed my pulse inbetween my ankle and heel .. i'm sure you know what i'm talking about.

Anyway, is that pulse in sync with my heart or is it slightly behind? I think i've always just assumed it to be in time, but it also makes sense (to me) now that perhaps it's a few beats behind; the further the pulse is from the source, the more beats it is behind.

In other words: If my heart stopped, would the foot pulse stop at the same time or carry on a few beats?

These are the kinda questions science doesn't dare ask! We need a volunteer..

That pulse, btw, is of the posterior tibial artery found at the "anatomical landmark" known as Pimenta's Point
