It's gone a bit quiet on the parcel front anyway - we're nearing the summer holiday period and it goes that way. Plus the weathers been good for ages and i should imagine everyone's got their summer clothes bought already.

Sitting in the coolest part of the kitchen floor having lost the battle with a stroppy toddler about him having to eat his dinnet before getting 'holiday biscuits' (aka oreos). He's now happily munching his way through the oreos, dinner untouched, and I want it to be 8.30pm and him to be away to bed. 3 hours trying to get a sugar filled toddler to calm down won't be fun

Chess is a weird thing, you can learn what each piece does in about 5 minutes..then off you go.

Yet...your going to suck for ages

I think I learnt it when I was 10/11ish and will have played it on and off during my teens on my super duper simpsons chess board!

I still remember it all but I suspect I'd lose to a 3 year old now

I'm somewhere too posh for the likes of me on a spa day on my own. Aside from feeling dead sorry for the poor soul that was given my yucky self to pummel with hands and hot stones, I'm now feeling quite chilled. I'm now in a relaxation area where everyone else is nattering away with a pal or family member. I seem to be the only naepals here. However, I'm sitting in a wee cocoon-like swivel chair pointing towards the wall and I'm just rocking it gently from side to side. I want to spend the rest of my life in this chair. Sounds are muffled, lighting is low and aside from having no friends to share this, which does take away some enjoyment, I'm at least feeling peaceful.

Sorry biscuits - I missed this. I cant get over the fact that daddy pig looks like a big unkempt ballsack. We are doing ok. Wee guy was 3 in march and full-on - currently creating havoc in the garden with a hose. I'm about to start a post grad course but got no energy and now a wee grumpy chops to distract me! Worried I might have taken on too much! Hows your good self, Mrs??

Awww hiya Z. How you doing, Mr? Hope life is treating you well. Love it so much when folk don't change their usernames!! It's freakin scary how quick time passes, eh? Post Grad is in the mental health field. It's always been my main area of interest - most likely because I'm batshit crazy myself.

Ha well Mr Cake has his moments too! Thankfully the usual 5 episodes of Peppa before bed was cut to 2 as wee dude fell asleep during the second campervan one. Sometimes it feels like it's a form of torture!
