I was thinking of the beef stews my mum made when I was a kid. Fairly calorific I'm guessing and that's without adding suet dumplings to the kcal count.

I'm trying to keep to 800 - 1000 kcal a day. How long I can keep it up remains to be seen..

I carry a lot of shame too, I think deep set shame is a big cause of social anxiety & low self esteem and is caused by our early experiences. When it affects us like this it's called "toxic shame" & it might be worth you reading up about it.

I did a stew the other day, and it was all veg. Potatoes, carrots, swede, parsnip, er sprouts
That being said I did have to 'enhance' it with seasoning.

Well atm my social anxiety stems from shame I think. I feel like I'm afraid of having to go into detail about my life story as it's really awkward and people reject me because it's different.

If you click on the emoji icon on the left next to the chat box, at the bottom of the screen there is a gif option.
