Default Morning Rush / Panic

anyone else have trouble getting up on time in the morning?

I really have to force myself to eventually get out of bed for work,
and then it's just a jumbled rush of panic and time-saving tactics,
I usually rush out the door with laces undone, and a breakfast bowl in my hand,
then, I'll try and hang a washing out if it's to be sunny, or drag bins out and next thing I'm 10 minutes late
my teeth only get brushed once I'm in work
and my breakfast is usually finished at my desk in work
this morning I made a fresh fruit smoothie, then,
in my usual mad rush left it behind in my porch, to fester in the sun

wish I could turn this behaviour around,

anyone else in a chaotic panic every morning?

I'm not chaotic as you describe but I do have trouble getting out of bed. But I work from home so don't need to literally rush into work.

i find myself doing really dumb shit when its time to leave for work, like i will somehow convince myself its worth sticking my xbox on 10 minutes before im supposed to go

i think its just the mind frantically trying to put things in the way of the degradation of work. as such i dont think theres really a solution because degradation is never really going to stop being horrible.

imagine if we had jobs we liked, full of people who arent toxic arseholes! oh gosh sorry i was just kidding, didnt mean to be ridiculous

wow!... what would that be like?

came close once or twice, but I guess the world has more than it's fair share of arseholes, as it didn't last long

I'm with you,... intolerable is the word

the effort to get out of bed seems on a herculean level sometimes.

I don't recall ever having trouble when we had our last dog but the new one is still a pup/mental and wants to go mad with me in the morning while I'm here.

I don't mind that but it seems I'm getting up earlier and earlier and still managing to leave myself about 5 minutes to eat breakfast/shower/find me car keys. Work really is an inconvenience, I can't even blame not liking the place..its alright, sometimes I turn up 20min late but im high enough up our little ladder that no one can really say anything/care
