I hope this won't be moderated as being too personal but I'm very curious about Barry Scott. He recently burst into SA-UK in a flash of Cillit-Bang brilliance and we know nothing about the man himself...

I have my own theories but I'll keep them to myself..

I think he's an existing user of the board..

I maybe wrong, but someone on my msn (who added me from here) has the Barry Scott photo as his display photo.. So i'm sorta thinking it's him.

Edit: either that or he IS the real deal. Hmm.. Barry Scott has SA.. Who woulda thought it?!

I reckon it's somebody posting under a different name although I did read on the BBC website about a big fuss caused when somebody claiming to be the mysterious "Barry Scott" posted on somebody's blog...turned out they were working for the advertising agency that promotes Cillit Bang as some kind of bizarre viral marketing campaign. Could actually be somebody trying to sell cleaning products but then again, according to Wikipedia, "Barry Scott" is a fictional character tha doesn't actually exist.

Actually I think Mr Scott would be quite a horn devil if it wasn't for that rather old-fashioned just-come-out-of-the-coiffeur hairstyle. He needs something younger and more funky, I think.
