My headphones broke a while ago, so decided to get some bluetooth ones instead, as mine always break due to wear on the wire, but the ones I want are expensive, so I'm waiting for a deal to come up. I hate being without music when I'm out.

My rectus femoris are very sore this morning.

Yet another night of zero sleep. I am so fed up with it all as I so wanted to go out today with the in-laws but I may have to stay behind to get some sleep because I've got a stressful parents evening type thing that I've got to go a long to this evening.

Also suffering very badly with 'women's problems' - never rains but it pours

I don 't think I will ask for a mandatory reconsideration if this doesn't go well . Getting tired of it all now! I will just stay on JSA until I find something suitable for me.

Yes, shame I couldn't get mental health support sorted before my UC health assessment. Just wish I could find a job that I could work on my own. Will be a struggle to find though especially when I have no references from previous jobs and a big gap in my CV. Ah well, it is what it is!
Did you end up going out today?
Oh that's good. I didn't realise the CAB went with people to assessments.
here's hoping he turns up for his sake!

Well it's up to you and how you feel about it. I think they are trying to fail a lot of ppl on purpose though (meeting targets and bonuses) so just because you don't get the award does not mean your not entitled to it. It's a shame we all have to jump through hoops but that's there aim - hoping you won't or don't feel able to go to MR/appeal.

Nah I didn't end up going out yesterday, had a day pottering about the house and catching up on stuff.

There is a job going near me Mo, tempted to just take it. It is in a recycling factory. It doesn't seem like I will need to mix with other people too much. So I have emailed the recruitment agency asking how long the company will have work for because it is only a temporary position. If it is for longer than a year, I think I will take it but I am well aware it is a risky. So fed up of the benefits malarkey.

Yeah the benefits system is a total mess . I hate being a part of it, but needs must in my case, at least for now.

Well, only you can make that decision for yourself, if it were me I would stay on course with the assessment and see what the mental health team had on offer in terms of treatment/help/support. But I guess you have to do what you feel is right.
One thing I will say is that the CMHT sometimes see that a person is in work and 'functioning' and discharge shortly therafter from services. That may not be the case with you but I'd be aware when dealing with them.

I'm still seeing the employment guy I was referred to by the job centre (saw him today infact). I'm signed up to him till Nov/Dec, decided to carry on seeing him as I feel it will help me move into work in the future. Were looking at voluntary positions and permitted work now rather than a full time job. Luckily he's willing to keep seeing me even though I won't be an outcome for him.

Sounds like you have the right set-up for the future Mo
That was my plan for this year, just to get back on my feet since stopping drinking in January.
I do think I might be able to cope with this role though. Like I say if I know I can get at least a years work from it I will probably take it but if not then it is too much to take on.
I just think I will struggle to find another job that is so convenient for me. I was so surprised to find it. So yeah, see what the woman from the agency says tomorrow.

Hopefully the tests will point to the problem and it can be sorted out quickly.
But yeah I know how hard it is when you have only one parent/close family member left, it seems to triple the worry.

Well, hopefully.

Well it doesn't hurt to be on the look out and make enquiries. It might be the perfect opportunity for you

I hope the tests quickly reveal what the problem is with your Dad's kidneys and that it's something that can be easily treated. It's impossible not to catastrophise when a loved one is poorly, especially when you don't yet know what the diagnosis is and so your mind will naturally run riot. When you find out what the problem is and that, fingers crossed, it's nothing too serious hopefully your worry for your Dad will lessen Kooky

Feeling like crap. just goes on and on with no resolvement..whether i'm on an even keel or not.

Appoint tom - lately its been crazy-tough just setting a foot out the door living with these people. 4 days to go til theyre back at school (spring hol) - not that the education system appears to bother to teach them right from wrong these days... or if they are its going in one ear...and swiftly out the other by the time they get home. sigh.

I think I might sleep well tonight.

Went to horse sanctuary as they were short this s'morning, then rushed home to get changed and went for my gym session with a fitness instructor, had 2 hours to kill before counselling and it was such a nice afternoon I decided to go up to the reserve and have a wander along some foot paths. Might have over done it! Still at least I got the gym thing out of the way, hopefully In can get back into it. He's booked me another appointment in 2 weeks for a review.

Fairly hopeless and struggling to give the slightest shit about anything. Except when the next cool glass of Pepsi Max is coming.

Like there's something fundamentally wrong with me as a person. I'm not even a person, I'm just a poor imitation of one.

Just spent last twenty minutes trying to explain why I think we feel like this but it was too long-winded without saying very much! Anyhow it is really confusing and so demoralising! Especially when in brief bursts all seems well and then the clothes fall off, so to speak!

or

Trying to determine which one would be the least awkward:p
