A confusing predicament...

For months I have been looking forward to my forthcoming ski holiday next week, going to the same place as I did last February with my extended family (including my cosuins, who are my age or similar). However, for some reason this past week my enthusiasm has diminished as I heard that at the time we go, it is the last week of the skiing season and there will be fewer people in the hotel. What I cannot understand is that this pleases me on most occasions, as I have SA, prefer to be around my close family and my cousins, so why is this?
