Default post deletion question

i think there must be altogether far too much info about me now on here, with my posts creeping towards 17,000

is there any quick n easy way to delete posts? like say if i decided to get rid of everything from over a year ago?

*fears he knows the answer *

I think you can cos I did once. You probably need to ask everyone to leave it first though.

In theory, I can delete posts in batches of 300 (perhaps more if I get Occultus to up my limit). However, every time I've tried to do it lately, the board throws a hissy-fit and freezes up. Then I have to delete them in much smaller batches, and even then, the board sometimes doesn't play ball. The early hours of the morning are particularly dire in that respect. So, yes I could do it for you, but in practice (and with almost 17,000 posts) it might be a bit of a pain, but I could certainly try.

I'm going to apply to Historic Scotland to have your posts listed. Then you wont be able to delete them.

Difficult?, no. I suppose it was a compliment ('flattery' alway sounds a bit fake)
