Thing i don't get is that alot of ads state 'Graduate' in the role title and then proceed to ask for a min 2 yrs or so experience

^ well that sounds like the 7 months i spent looking for work!

i sacked off graduate roles for that very reason , except try the odd games dev jobs..they want 3 years and "AAA title" under your belt...how the hell..?

I guess graduate role does not necessarily mean some dude who's just come out of uni anymore. Probably cos the graduate job market is so congested that they are have changed the usual criteria of these type of roles cos so many were applying.
